This is a typical bathroom layout. Minimum
room size is 5 feet width by 8 feet depth. The typical
measurement of the bathtub is 5 feet in length and
2’6” in width. Typical interior door size
is 30 inches. The toilet minimum opening is 30”
width and 27” depth and 18” space in front
of toilet. The opening of the sink must be 27”
in width and the depth is 16” and the space
in front is 18”.
The plumbing wall must be 2X6 construction
to allow for vent pipes and water supply. Bathroom
must have one window with tempered glass or an exhaust
fan for ventilation.
